A Small Group Training that's about your well being...




A combined Yoga + Targeted Stretch and Strengthen Small Group Training (SGT) that is specifically designed to help relieve back and neck problems, ease radiating pain, sciatica and other issues. Utilizing Pilates and other core strengthening techniques, you'll strengthen abdominals, core trunk muscles, trunk extensors and the mid-upper back. We will both strengthen + stretch and relax the lower back.

In addition to Yoga, the SGT will incorporate wide-ranging techniques, s.a. the McKenzie Mechanical Techniques, Brill methods, Pilates, Thai Massage and other approaches. In addition, we are using Gyrokinesis, which is a brilliant method and a dynamic way to mobilize the spine.

We'll be using equipment such as foam rollers, body rolling balls, Yoga blocks and straps and if available, chairs and Reformer boxes.

You'll find more elongation and strength in your spine as your spine's posture and function improves and spinal curves normalize. This results in an increase in ease and healing in your body.


Stretch:
Hip flexors & quads
External rotators, TFL & ITB
Tone and release the psoas.
Hamstrings & calves
Shoulders, chest and neck
Quadratus Lumborum - side body
Strengthen:
Low, Mid and Upper Back
Lower Abs and Core
Pelvic Floor. Pelvic Stabilization technique.
Inner Thighs
