Commencement

Palms face each other
Find your own stance. Focus. Stand Tall. Shoulders relax. Feel your roots.
Commence.
Start with heels together, toes pointing out (Founder Sun Lu Tang - Sun Style).
Start angled, 30% point out, heels together, then feet forward
Weight on the Right. Take a step forward with Left foot and transfer weight.
Follow Step with Right - when on the lower left of the 'U'.
When right foot steps forward it’s a side step so it’s ball-heel
Ball analogy - 'U'; offer ball twice. Gentle curve. As you raise arms, think of things that will get better
Sink in the hips - stay low after that. Or just sink on exhalation, or when arms come down.
Transition into Open-Close from Commencement - bring hands back and slowly rotate hands so fingers point up.
Closing Movement - Stand/grow taller as arms come softly down.

Martial meaning: Bring opponent's hands down.

Right is yin
